Meet the co-Editors: Self-Directed Learning in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic
Self-Directed Learning in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic: Research on the affordances of online virtual excursions video is out!
Join co-editors Josef de Beer, Neal Petersen and Robert J. Balfour as they explore their book, focusing on pre-service teacher education, with a specific focus on research into the enhancement of self-directed learning in first-year students. The book is scheduled to be published during Quarter Four 2022.
This book is Volume 9 of the book series NWU Self-directed Learning Series that explores self-directed learning as an educational approach in which the student assumes responsibility for their learning. This collection, intended primarily for researchers, documents the evolution of scholarship and the latest findings resulting from collaborative research with a distinctive focus on self-directed learning. Contact Professor Elsa Mentz (elsa.mentz@nwu.ac.za), Editor of the NWU Self-directed Learning Series, to contribute a full-length manuscript within the series. We invite you to read the volume(s) in the series.
